i'm in love with this month. ready to blast annoying christmas music, string holiday lights and wreaths and send out cards, get drunk off too much eggnog at holiday parties dressed in sequined red and green and gold, glitter on my eyes. ready for how everyone is nicer, how the stores are brighter and warmer and crowded and filled with sales, ready for presents and traditions and waking up later and later on christmas day because we're getting older and need our sleep. ready for narnia. for the smell of gingerbread and snow to pervade everything else in the air, the snow piling up on the mailbox outside, cooking yams by the fireplace. to bring in the new year with too much jungle juice in my system and weed on the back porch and high school friends and countdowns from ten. ready to see daren graduate, to freak out over gd and top finally coming true, to hang silver tinsel in my car and watch christmas specials on abc. ready for 2011. ready forever ♥
